New Cover Filter Bonnets are easier to use and disposable too

New filter bonnets have been introduced to replace cover filter clothes. GEMCO blenders that require venting use a filter on the cover that is held in place by a ring with wing nuts. The new bonnet has an elastic edge that easily slips over the cover and holds it in place without fasteners. The new bonnet replaces the retaining ring, wing nuts and filter cloth.

The new filters are spun bonded polyester, not a woven material that frays and unravels. Individual fiber materials are trilobal instead of round, which provides higher air permeability. The bonnet surface is smooth and does not attract or hold powder particles.
